First I want to say that I loved this book and once I started reading it I couldn’t put it down。 I loved the POV and the characters are amazing。 I really felt connected to this book and I was mentally involved。 Haha。 The author did a great job and I fell this needs to be added to my collection。 I am not giving a spoiler but I would say I would highly recommend this book。

This was good story with a lot of parts I really enjoyed。 I definitely saw growth in both characters over the course of the story which was appropriate。 The beginning starts out a little disjointed。 I felt there were ideas left out there and things the author did not explain that we were supposed to understand。 I felt there was something I was missing。 Some of the extended family members were written into the story but their relationship not really explained (who was whose brother? The families always had brunch together? Why?)。 The story got much better as it went on。 I even give the author credit for dealing with some very difficult subjects (sexual attack, anxiety, lack of self-confidence, etc。)。 (view spoiler)[ I did like one sex scene in particular when the H is angry and the sex hurt。。。 umm not OK。 That is also considered sexual assault。 Yes he asked if she was OK but I did not really have the feeling she was OK。 I felt she was afraid to say it was not all right。 (view spoiler)[ All in all there was a lot to like in the story。 I will read another book by this author。 (hide spoiler)] (hide spoiler)] 。。。more

These two seem to be polar opposites at first glance。 But they are amazing for one another。 And I actually really loved their story。 Their growth both individually and together as a couple。 The spice, the side characters, the way the complimented one another。 All the feels and of course their happily ever after。 Another One of Kristin's books that I'll live in for awhile! 💙 。。。more

On My Knees is book #2 in the Campus Stallions series by Kristin Lee。 The series should be read in order for clarity and spoilers in later books。Harper and Logan have both appeared in other books by this author。 I knew when I first met them individually that the story surrounding the characters would be good and I was not disappointed! Although Harper and Logan appear to be oil and water, in reality, they are a perfect fit。。。they just need to figure out their own personal puzzle。I loved watching On My Knees is book #2 in the Campus Stallions series by Kristin Lee。 The series should be read in order for clarity and spoilers in later books。Harper and Logan have both appeared in other books by this author。 I knew when I first met them individually that the story surrounding the characters would be good and I was not disappointed! Wow! I just finished this one and I loved it。 So many different things to unpack with this book! It was all over the place, in a great way! Things I loved: -The representation of Harpers anxiety。 Sometimes in books where the main character has anxiety it is kinda brushed over and not focused on as being a big thing that’s actually impossible to control and demoralizing。 I would know because I suffered from bad anxiety and still do sometimes。 So seeing this be so real and raw was truly great。 Har Wow! Things I loved: -The representation of Harpers anxiety。 Sometimes in books where the main character has anxiety it is kinda brushed over and not focused on as being a big thing that’s actually impossible to control and demoralizing。 I would know because I suffered from bad anxiety and still do sometimes。 So seeing this be so real and raw was truly great。 Harper as a whole was a really fun character and I loved her spunk。 I had some issues in the middle which I will get to later but I can barely remember those because she completely redeemed herself in the last half! -Logan, of course。 He was amazing。 Nothing can go wrong with a sexy, slightly arrogant football QB with a heart of gold。 I loved how he loved her in some way since the very beginning and how hard he fought for her。 I loved how he taught Hap that she was strong and could let her past go and stand on her own two feet without hiding from anyone, Hagan and himself included。 I loved how open and honest and in touch he was with his feelings and how he communicated that to her。 And of course, his interactions with all the kids in this book were to die for。 Whether that was his niece and nephew or the kids at the hospital。 -Hagan and Adalee…yes I know this was not their book but still I loved them just as much this time around。 These two have a special place in my heart and seeing them so happy in this book was a blessing。 They were also such good friends to both Logan and Hap which I loved 。 They were there for both of them without picking sides, as they should be。 -Logan and Adalee have the BEST platonic relationship ever!! I wanted more of them because of how much I loved them together in both of the books in this series。 I love how Adalee kept Logan in check and comforted him。 I loved Logan’s thoughts about her how she was his best friend and that he knew she’d always be there for him。 I wish we got more moments with them! -Hagan and Logan I loved their relationship as well。 They were besties even if Hagan didn’t always want to admit it and I LOVED how Hagan didn’t freak about them dating。 Like yes he had his moment of overreaction and overprotection but once he knew Logan was serious about Hap he was their biggest supporter which I always feel like is how it should be with your best friend and your sister。 -Hagan and Harpers relationship is also super cute。 Do I feel like it is realistic? No? But then again I don’t have a twin so could it be? Yeah。 And did any of that stop me from thinking they were adorable? Hell no。 I loved how they were there for eachother no matter what and made sure to stay in contact。 And I loved how no one got their feelings hurt when the other said they needed space from the whole overwhelming twin thing。 I loved how Hagan was protective and considerate and supportive and respectful of her all at the same time。 -The social media post。 Usually something I am not fond of in books, but Kristin turned this into some of the CUTEST moments in the book! I won’t say much cus I don’t want to spoil but what they did/said/posted on socials and they way it was later out/written was so well done and adorable。 It really added to their relationship and doing the epilogue like that was GENIUS and super unique。-The cancer representation。 This one is hard to love because it breaks your heart into a million piece but it is really important to the story and in life。 More people need to be aware of this。 And Harper is 100% right …PARENTS SHOUKD NOT HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT PAYING FOR MEDICAL BILLS WHEN THEIR BABIES ARE FIGHTING FOR THEIR LIVES! Sorry for screaming at you in all caps but this hits home for me because I’ve dealt with a lot of cancer in my family, especially childhood cancer。 And it is SO fucking hard。 But not talked about or given enough attention。 -Not going to say much cus I don’t want to spoil but Evy Brown and Griffin have my whole heart! Love you guys!!!💕💕💕-I also honestly loved Josie even tho she was barely in it and would not mind if she got a book…🤭 😉 Things that needed improvement:-some of the writing choices were a little confusing and weird as they distracted from the overall book and made parts feel disconnected, like it was a different writer and/or different characters。 Sometimes in these moments things rubbed me the wrong way and I’d have to skip a little- I was nervous towards the middle/beginning because Harpers character was a little annoying at time about certain things。 Like on if the things I hated was that she (spoiler) broke up with Logan because of his history with a lot of girls? Like I understand if some of their reactions have you anxiety but you can’t take that out on him。 He was with those girls before he met you and has said that you mean more than anyone and that he won’t let anyone that’s not a girlfriend come to the house 。 Like what else do you want him to do? He can’t change that nor should he feel like he has to。 As long as he’s not still seeing other girls…you knew about his past going into this relationship! -Harper calling his penis “Junior” was so awkward and cringe。 I had to skip that every time it came up and pretend like it didn’t happen because it was such a turn off and honestly kind horrifying 😅The bonus chapter that I read at the end which was the proposal and moneys leading up to it and after it was *chefs kiss* Honestly utter perfection! Loved them! Loved his proposal! Loved their families! Loved her progress! Golden! If you haven’t I would definitely give this series a try starting with the first book。 Or the Sarasota Sharks series which is technically first if you want the story’s of all their friends and family that are talked about in these! Both are amazing! Prepare yourself for all the feels! 😩Now for some quotes:“He thinks I hate his touch。 What happens when he finds out I love it?”“The entire night, I relished her being by my side。 If anyone was having thoughts beyond a fake date, it was me。 Harper can never know that I’m catching feelings for her。”“ I keep hold of her hand because it feels perfect inside mine。”“Stop looking at me like I’m crazy。 It’s not crazy to want you so bad my chest burns。”“She’s lived here six weeks, and in the past two, my world has fallen off its axis。”“My head is so twisted right now。 She’s all I can think about。”“You’re not any other girl—you’re different。 When I look into your eyes, I forget my name half of the time。”“Harper isn’t just anyone。 She’s the girl I’ve dreamt about since I first saw her on the television。”“Please, I’m on my knees asking you to choose me。 To love me。”“Everyone can fall in love but not everyone can win a Heisman。 Logan: You obviously aren’t in love。” 。。。more

This is so beautiful and heart wrenching at the same time。 A beautiful love story with a little heat and a lot of banter! The end had me crying for sad and happy reasons! So glad I was chosen to read the ARC, and be a part of this books journey!
